2009 Lotus Evora design review

            It’s been a long time in the making and no it’s not the halo car that everyone thought it would be.  You will have to wait another year before you even get to see the new halo car from Lotus, but in the mean time you can have their new 2009 Evora instead.  It seems that Lotus really knows how to start some buzz, since when they first started the project on the Evora, everyone thought it was going to 

be the next Esprit.  Too bad for them since Lotus came from no where and surprised us with a new mid-tier supercar to compete with the likes of the Gallardo and F430.

      ​The one major downfall to the new Lotus, is that it does not look all that British.  It could be that because Lotus is owned by a Malaysian company or it could be because it trying to create a new look for British supercars.  Whatever it is, all you need to know is they need to add some more edges to the car. The only other major downfall to the Evora is its happy face grille.  No matter how you do it, it always is going to look bad.
