After a dismal year of sales for most companies and just a plain bad year for anything truck based, it seems that the truck market is still moving along. It may not be doing as good as it was back in late 2008 but it still is going good enough to add a few more models. Of course, for some it’s a must that they have to release new models since the competition just release a new product or that they need something else within their product line.
It just so happens that our last truck is one that was never meant to be. If it had been released it would have been the only truck of its kind in North America, filling a void which has been empty since the late 1980’s. But for now, we will just have to go on hoping that Chevrolet will bring out its own version some time soon.
Just like its counterpart in North America it seems that the Mazda equivalent for the rest of the world just got a makeover as well. Of course, this makeover really is not for anything of the better.
Now what happens when you make a bland design look half decent. You wind up with the 2010 Ford SVT Raptor. This is one truck which is bread not of power and hauling capabilities, but of pure adrenaline and a Baja makeover. The SVT Raptor is a purebred Baja truck built for the streets.
Of course, it never fails, when North America is stuck with a bland boring truck, Ford decides it’s a good time for Europe and Australia to get a new Ranger. Meanwhile back North America were stuck with a truck from the 1980’s which may never change. But hey who cares would you really want a truck like the 2010 Ford Ranger anyways.
I really think that most of the Harley Davidson fans are starting to get tired of the none muscular looking trucks which are apparently made for them. I really don’t know why anyone would want one of the best bikes in the world to be hauled around in something that looks like it came from a child’s toy box.
Now last year when Dodge released its all-new Ram everyone was wondering if this new design would be carried onto its heavy-duty models. Well, your wait is over because Dodge has finally released the all new 2010 Ram 3500.
Well, when you sell vehicles all over the world your bound to find a difference in design tastes. And I guess that’s what you could say about the 2010 Toyota Hilux, since it really does not have that cool comfort of a North American truck. It seems to have more an urban runabout to its design.
Well, it just seems odd that it took so long for this company to finally release a truck. Considering that its own recreational vehicles have had to been towed behind other companies’ trucks to and from sporting events. Well, those days are now over since the release of the 2010 Suzuki Equator. The Equator is just a borrowed platform from Nissan but it
