​            With a slow recovery and an added new friend, it seems that the SUV market will be staying with us for awhile longer.  Although it may not be as strong as it once was it still has something that the crossover market doesn’t.  And that is an aftermarket world.  With a shift from off-road fun to family mover the SUV has come along way to the models we now have.  Although most of the SUVs within the aftermarket world no longer can venture off roads, they still have style of that off road adventure.  

​            After a poor take on a V8 version of its previous model, it seems that Volvo is starting to see the light.  With the 2010 Volvo XC60 R-Design, Volvo is hoping that this new model will do what the previous V8 XC90 never could do.  Well, when you start with a great looking model like the XC60 to begin with then you might be 

​            Now when you have an already odd looking CUV on your hands what would anyone think of to do next.  Maybe add a horrible looking front fascia, some over sized wheel wells and up size your rims.  Then you would have the workings of the 2010 BMW X6 M on your hands.  Sure, BMW does make some exciting models, but when it does exciting SUV models, it 

​            Now into its second generation of M worthiness the new 2010 BMW X5 has finally released its halo model.  It seems that this time the German company is going to make a statement about its design rather than just adding some big wheels and a minor skirt kit.  This time BMW has added larger wheel wells, larger wheels, lowered the ride height and 

​            It seems that just three years ago, all you hear about was a new SUV coming out.  Nowadays it seems that every day all you hear are failing auto companies or a new type of crossover.  But even with all of the bad news within the auto industry it seems that the mid-sized SUV-CUV segment is still running strong.  With a shift now to smaller more fuel-efficient 

​            Well, here we are taking a hit at one of the forefathers of the CUV market, the 2010 Mazda CX-9.  Although the first generation did not have a lot of major problems, it seems that with a revise the CX-9 is still lacking.  Being the bigger brother of the CX-7, you would think that the older brother would be a bit more refined.  

​            Even though our next model is hitting the market as a 2011 model we have decided to include it in our 2010 list.  Of course, this is possible since the 2010/11 Kia Sorento will be on sale long before the 2011 season even starts.  Headed into its second generation, it seems that Kia has come along way from where it once was.  

​            Well, it seems that whenever Chevrolet gets a new SUV then GM has to get one as well.  It just seems that the General can never figure out who is suppose to be the truck division since every time someone in the GM family gets a new SUV or truck, then the General is close behind.  Now why would any company in their right mind create so much overlap in their product line.  

​            For a company coming straight out of bankruptcy, you would think that their first major hit might be something small.  But it seems that Chevrolet has decided to go big and change up the look the mid-size SUV.  For 2010 Chevrolet decided to up the ante on its prize-winning Equinox model.  

​            When you have a winning design why would you ever think to change it.  Well for starters that winning design you speak of is over eight years old and second its time to move your model a bit higher up the mid-size category.  With its first generation now behind us its now time to look at the 2010 Acura MDX.
