2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback design review

​            First on our list of overly amazing cars this year, is the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback.  Considering the main model only came out a little while ago, its nice to see that Mitsu is finally seeing that hatches are here to stay.  The 2009 

Sportback is one of the best designs of the year, and just like its sedan sibling, it too brings that awesome new Mitsubishi look, along with it.  But where the sedan failed, the hatch prevails. 

​     Just about every feature of the sport back is great.  From its devilish headlights, to the fire breathing hood lined air-ducts, everything about this car means business.  But unlike other cars on the road, the only downsides to this car are very minor.  The only major down fall on the front end, is that there isn’t a lot of room to place a license plate.  It’s there but not all there.  And along the side, the car has made use of crease in the doors, but this would have been better filled with a side air-duct and a lower crease line.  Next to that there wasn’t much else wrong with this car.
