2010 Alfa Romeo 149 Design Review

​            The first car on this list this year is the 2010 Alfa Romeo 149.  Although originally sold at the beginning of 2009 the 149 is a car all about change.  And why do we say that, well its because the car is about to get a major make over soon, and will be re-badged as a new entry level car for Dodge.  This new model will soon fill the slot where the first-generation Neon sat.  Now coming form a company like Alfa Romeo you would expect that this 

car would be on top of the world in both sport appeal and bad ass looks.  But really that is not the case with this year 149.  Why do I say that, well take a look at the headlights, nice but really bubble lights?  They work with the car but still make the front end seem a bit sad.  And really Alfa you need to lose the nose on the front end.  This may be a defining Alfa Romeo look, but on this car it’s just too much, since it over emphasizes the front end.  Added to that, if you didn’t know who Alfa Romeo was, this car would not help, since it’s hard to find the Alfa logos.
