2010 Compact sedan design ratings

Kia Forte
Well considering that the sub-compact segment is heating up, it is no wonder that the compact segment would be cooling off a bit.  With all the changes in the world and to gas prices these days, you might expect to see more movement within the compact playing field.  But unfortunately for everyone, that is not the case.

This year has seen some new models and new looks dawn on the compact segment, and only one entry within the four, is an update of a previous model.  Although two of the cars are the same, we thought it might be nice to put two similar designs up against each other in a battle to see which continent will have the better car.  Will it be Asia or North America?  You will just have to wait and see.

Now at the end of every segment we have to bring out who is good and who is bad.  And this year you might guess right who grabbed the AutoLooks A+ award.  That’s right, it’s the 2010 Mazda 3.  Considering that there are very few problems with this car, it only makes sense that it be the winner.

And the winner of the 2010 Rusty will have to go to the ugly step sister car, the 2010 Chevrolet Cruze.  For a car, which hasn’t even made its way to dealers, it’s hard to believe that you’re already off on a bad foot.  Maybe Chevrolet should change its grille design to have less emphasis on flow, and more on show.
