2010 Dodge Ram 3500 design review

​            Now last year when Dodge released its all-new Ram everyone was wondering if this new design would be carried onto its heavy-duty models.  Well, your wait is over because Dodge has finally released the all new 2010 Ram 3500.  

        This new Ram comes with a higher hood line, more chrome and a larger cabin compared to its 1500 and 2500 counterparts.  The new chrome bumper is a welcomed change from that painted plastic and it adds to the rugged look.  Added to this is a whole new chrome grille which could have done without the chrome inserts.  This is one area where the chrome should have been left out.

       Next it still seems that Dodge wants to make its Mega Cab look long.  This is nice but not to those who have to back up this monster since they will not be able to see around the giant C-pillar.  It would have been nice if Dodge added in a wrap around back window to increase safety and get rid of that large plain surface.  And one last little thing Dodge should change on the 3500.  Maybe they should have made the fuel port of chrome as well.  It would have been only fitting with this design.
