2010 Ferrari 458 Italia design review

​            Now if there was a Ferrari which caught everyone off guard that would have to be well the Enzo.  But if there was a second one, it would have to be the 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia.  This car is a major change for Ferrari, bringing it out of the 90’s and into the 21st century.  Losing its Modena style, the new 458 still evokes 

the same image created by the Modena model of the late 1990’s.  Of course, where the Modena and F430 failed the 458 excels.

       Up front the 458 creates a new self image losing the basic headlamp design of previous models.  This is a good feature and a bad feature, being that it still takes some time to get use to it.  As well it seems that Ferrari is following the trend of a nose style front end.  With the front air duct creating a nose on the front of the car.  One thing this car still retains from its previous platform is the dome style roof.  The top of the car still makes the front windshield stand to flat on the front of the car.  As for the rear of the car, maybe Ferrari should have toned down the body line along the side, since its hard to tell which way it is going.
