2010 Ferrari 458 Italia design review
the same image created by the Modena model of the late 1990’s. Of course, where the Modena and F430 failed the 458 excels. Up front the 458 creates a new self image losing the basic headlamp design of previous models. This is a good feature and a bad feature, being that it still takes some time to get use to it. As well it seems that Ferrari is following the trend of a nose style front end. With the front air duct creating a nose on the front of the car. One thing this car still retains from its previous platform is the dome style roof. The top of the car still makes the front windshield stand to flat on the front of the car. As for the rear of the car, maybe Ferrari should have toned down the body line along the side, since its hard to tell which way it is going. Everett J. #autolooks Overall Grade: B-
