2010 Honda Insight design review
And yet it seems that its biggest home base competitor never learned as to why the first Prius may a change very quickly. So now we have the 2010 Honda Insight, a very ugly duckling when it comes to the hybrid market. When you take a look at the other hybrids on the market you start to wonder why would any company try to create a functional yet ugly hybrid. But when your Honda it seems that quality and functional ability always come before a good design. First why would anyone ever create such a basic design with such a basic looking grille. Yes, the front end is very simple since the hood is very tall and does not have any defining lines. Added to this is that new cheap looking grille which really does not look good in any light. Then Honda decided to add some very plain looking rims which has no good appeal to them at all. And then you move onto the rear where you see well nothing much. From a tall and boring rear window to the flat surfaces that do nothing it seems that everything at the back end of this car is just as bad as the front. Everett J. #autolooks Overall Grade: D-
