2010 Keating TKR design review

2010 Keating TKR
When you’re trying to beat the land speed record for a production car, most would think that you might add some luxury or at least a good design.  Like what McLaren and Bugatti did.  But when you’re a small company which does not have the resources to make such an extravagant car, you wind up with the
2010 Keating TKR.

This is one car which may be designed well for aerodynamics, but it is not designed well enough to be seen in.  Sure, if you’re on a race track, this maybe a cool car to be in, but when you’re out cruising the streets, you might want something a bit better looking.  When it comes to good things to say all I can say is this, “Nice Race Car”.  If you want a car that looks good Keating should maybe cut in the headlights, widen the hood duct, redesign the lower front ducts, lose the double line feature in the side duct, redo the entire rear end starting with the exhaust port and maybe change the wheels.  And when that is all done, you should figure out that this design is still twenty years old.
