2010 Kia Sorento design review

​            Even though our next model is hitting the market as a 2011 model we have decided to include it in our 2010 list.  Of course, this is possible since the 2010/11 Kia Sorento will be on sale long before the 2011 season even starts.  Headed into its second generation, it seems that Kia has come along way from where it once was.  

       The previous Sorento always had a BMW feeling to it and this spawned an aftermarket grille option for it.  This is by far one of the worst aftermarkets features I have ever seen since it is making fun of BMW and Kia.  But for 2011 Kia has done away with the German styling and gone completely Korean.  There really isn’t much bad to say about the new Sorento, well except for the fact that this model has a bit of a Suzuki Vitara feel to it.  Well, that and that the wheel wells are not 100% in line with the design of the Sorento.  Maybe add a bit more curve to the top of the wheel wells and Kia would have a sure hit on its hands.
