2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class design Review

2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Well, it seems that every year we see or hear about something new from the oldest car company in the world.  But nothing ever really seems to phase us, unless its one of the Supercars on our list this year.  Now when we first laid eyes on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan and Wagon, we first thought, what the
hell is this.  Then we came to our senses and realized we were right the first time around.  Yes, the new E-Class is a step forward, but only in a minor way.  The design has made major changes but really its still the same old two light car of the 1990’s.  It is nice to see that Mercedes has added some subtle touches from the 2009 C-Class to the car while keeping its E-Class image.

Some changes needed for this car are the fact that the headlights should both follow the hood line.  If this was done then the lights would look a lot more aggressive.  The next problem is the fact that the front grille is hanging onto the car for dear life.  Now it’s nice to see that Benz has added the big chrome grille back to its cars, but still maybe integration not separation is better.

The only other design flaw is the fact that the car looks a lot like the Maybach, of course the Maybach looks a lot like the previous S-Class.  But with all of that said the new 2010 E-Class is one sportier looking car, of course that is until BMW releases the 2011 5-Series.
