2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe design review

​            Now when you think of luxury coupes, the first company which comes to mind is usually Mercedes-Benz.  But unlike its main German rivals, it seems that Mercedes is headed in a whole new direction, which most are having a hard time trying to understand.  The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is one car which really is hard to understand.  

       Its hard to see what is good and what is bad, when you don’t know where the car is going in the first place.  From up front this car is really alien.  Looking at the grille its hard to figure out if its part of the car, or coming out of the car.  Now it does make the front look mean but when you add split headlights into the mix, you really have no chance of making things look good.

         One thing we can say about the front of this car, is for Mercedes to bring down the size of its symbol, its just way too big.  Now if you’re going to make a luxury car, maybe you should spend a little bit of time with a wheel manufacturer, since this car has Lincoln inspired wheels.  Now they may look good on a premium car, but not on a luxury car.
