2010 Toyota 4Runner design review

​            Now if anyone every thought that Toyota would ever create a hardcore truck-based SUV again, then now is your time.  Say hello to the 2010 Toyota 4-Runner, this is something in which SUV dreams are made of.  The 2010 4-Runner has to be one of the best truck styled SUVs of the past decade.  

       Since the shift from minivans to SUV’s it seems that real truck based or truck looking SUV’s have disappeared in the wake of more female friendly designs.  But now it is nice to see that one company wants to reach back out to the men of the world and say, “Yes we still can create a real mans SUV”.  I would have to say there are only two minor problems with this design.

       First is the lip which flows from the front bumper around the wheel wells to the rear bumper.  It is a defining feature but it does still attract the eye.  And second the extra bumper in the centre of the truck.  This may make the truck seem more rugged but it does add an eyesore to the front end.
