2010 Chevrolet Cruze design review

​            The first car we will be looking at within this segment is the 2010 Chevrolet Cruze.  This modern inception of a previous Cavalier is not the work of anyone on my side of the pond.  No, you have to give the credit to GM’s Korean arm, Daewoo, for this design.  Although it may look good, it does have some major 

problems.  The first of those problems is the bubble butt look.  Now this type of look may have worked for the Cavalier and Cobalt, but on a car that has so many edges up-front, maybe someone should have realized that the rear should be cut flat too.  Added to this problem are the ugly double bubble taillights, which seem to make the rear look like its on the wrong car.  Now up front the hood does have nice side lines, but it seems to hang off of the headlights, like it is a custom hood, giving block lights an evil look.  Now you have to ask GM one last question, why, oh why, would you make such a cookie cutter roof-line.  Really, everyone is thinking the same thing about how the roof is just one giant bubble.
