2010 High Performance Aftermarket design ratings

Shelby GT500 convertible
With a decline in models for the large aftermarket arena, it only seems fitting that the High-Performance arena would get a bit more attention.  And this year it seems to have.  But with all the losses and bleak futures ahead for some companies on our list, it still looks all good when it comes to fast cars.  Of course, the best way to make some extra money of an existing car, is to add a limited or
special model into the mix.  Of course, without this train of thought, some of the best cars may have been held over until the end of recession.

Now for this year we have an over abundance of models to choose from.  But only one model on our list is at the end of its life, or may soon be.  But for now, we must take a long look at what is coming our way in the next couple of months, and start preparing our wallets to be lightened, due to some kick ass cars.

Well, it always seems that everyone is always trying to beat out everyone else.  Maybe the days of everyone trying to out do themselves or even create a new design theme are over.  But whatever the case may be, all I know is that someone needs to come up with another show stopper soon, or the aftermarket may start dying.

And for our winners and losers this year you might be surprised as to who’s on top and who’s on the bottom.  But for this year we just had to name the 2010 Dodge Viper ACR the AutoLooks A+ winner.  The Viper won due to the fact that after nearly ten years it still is one evil car.  Now as for our bottom of the barrel car, it may be one that still has a cult following, but it may need to change that cults ideals a bit.  Because this year the 2010 Porsche GT3 RS is the Rusty car of the year.  This car did not maintain a true aftermarket appeal.  All it did was put the 911 out there for one more year.
