2010 Hyundai Equus design review

2010 Hyundai Equus
Okay you’re a company who is trying to move up in the world and you have just won every award you can, what do you do next.  You build a halo car that will launch the company into the premium/luxury world.  Yes, I am talking about the all new 2010 Hyundai Equus.  This is one model which Hyundai hopes will help turn it into a full-scale luxury company.

They have gone as far as forcing dealerships to separate the Genesis and Equus from all other Hyundai models.  I believe this is the beginning of the dwindle down faze of the lower models.  But enough about that were here to hear about what AutoLooks thinks about the design of the Equus.  For starters its nice to see a winged badge on the front of the Equus, being that most luxury marques have done away with this feature.  This could be one thing that is either see as old or something new and cool.

Next it would have been nice if some more attention was made on the front grille.  A bit more chrome could have been added to make it more luxurious. Now the design of the car is well done and flows well but the headlights of the Equus are a bit too long.  They could have brought them down a bit to make it seem more aggressive.  And one last thing about the Equus is that it is nice to see that Hyundai is following Bentley on its wheel choice.  This is a nice fit but it could have been done a lot better.
