2010 Range Rover design reviewConsidering that the 2010 Land Rover Range Rover is on the border of being a large mid-size SUV. Now you can never call this model either a CUV or a soft-roader, because when you come from a company which has gone from the top of the world to the bottom of it using just one vehicle, then you truly are an SUV. Of course, when it comes to style the Range Rover still has some luxury aspects to it, but its boxy design is starting to show its age. I just hope that Tata can make some major changes for the next Range Rover since it is hard to attract new consumers when all your offering is the same old look. Beside having a style lost in the 70’s some other major downfalls to the 2010 Range Rover are the lower fog lights and the chrome side air duct. This chrome feature is starting to show its age when you remember that Jaguar has been using it for over a decade. Now looking at the fog lights you might think it’s a good spot considering they are out of the way. But this is its major down fall, how can use see when they are in use. All they do is light up the pavement just below your tires. Maybe it is time for Land Rover to do a major overhaul of its design. Everett J. #autolooks Overall Grade: D+
